Community District Leadership Meeting
During these blended meetings, principals will have an opportunity to build on the work from the previous year. Working collaboratively as a Community District where a wide range of stakeholders e.g. school and community leaders, parents, advocates, elected officials, industry partners, etc. bring their strengths, expertise, resources, and multiple perspectives, each team will re-examine and build on its proposed initiatives in alignment with the district vision, Chancellor’s priorities,
and Superintendent’s initiatives.
Principal to Principal (P2P) Professional Learning Community
Principals from Brooklyn South high schools will have an opportunity to participate in a series of in-person inter-school visitations, where principals along with other members of their school communities will share best practices through pedagogical walkthroughs, collegial inquiry and peer-to-peer feedback. The learning from each P2P session will be collectively shared and connected to the larger work of each district during the Community District Leadership meetings.
